“In urban cities such as Hong Kong, food supplies rely heavily on imports as lands are very scarce and expensive. Vertical agriculture allows us to utilize our valuable space effectively for local food production. Our techniques allow us to produce superior vegetables without the use of pesticides or herbicides. SCATIL enforces a set of strict sanitary guidelines in conjunction with HACCP management to ensure food safety is at top tier with our produce.
Our objective is to provide vegetables that are safe and high quality for our people – strengthening trust towards our city’s food supply. At the moment, we have the production capacity 250kg vegetables daily, boosting local vegetable production with the goal of helping our city to become agriculturally self-sustained.”
